Octo Insights is a consulting practice built around a simple idea: the person you meet in the first conversation should be the person who does the work.
Why the name
The octopus is not decoration. It was chosen for two things it is known for: distributed intelligence across eight arms, and an unusual capacity for communication. Both describe how this work has to operate inside an organization — many parts, coordinated, and dependent on whether information actually moves.
How engagements run
Every engagement starts with a conversation rather than a proposal. If the fit is wrong, that is a more useful answer than a scoping document, and it arrives faster.
Scope is written around what the organization needs rather than assembled from a service menu. Pricing reflects a small independent practice, which is generally the practical difference between doing this work and deferring it another year.
